Financial Studies is a peer-reviewed journal published by “Victor Slăvescu” Centre for Financial and Monetary Research, part of the National Institute of Economic Research of the Romanian Academy. The editors seek to consolidate the Journal’s position as an important outlet for high-quality papers on financial topics. First published in 1995 as Buletin financiar, and later as Studii financiare, Financial Studies is a prestigious forum for the dissemination of new and substantial financial research. The journal publishes 4 online issues per year.

Financial Studies is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access

Book reviews

Financial Studies also publishes reviews on significant books on the subjects covered by the journal. Authors and publishers can send us the books they wish to be considered for review. Decisions regarding the books to be reviewed and the authors of the reviews are made by the editorial team. The books sent to the journal cannot be returned to the authors or publishers.
